My name is Tiffany, and welcome to 'Stead in the City

'Stead in the City first set roots in 2020 Jacksonville, Arkansas. A lifelong gardener, it only took a minimal tug and I was obsessing over YouTube videos, Googling "best urban homesteading books" at least twice a day, and falling into Amazon's "Frequently bought together" rabbit hole. I was eager to do and learn!  ('Stead's origin story) Four years and a cross country move later ‘Stead in the City is flourishing and nourishing in Stockton, California. Season after season, dreams I once clung to came alive, embers from fires long thought extinguished caught wind and came roaring back. The garden grew, bore fruit, and I came back to life.  ​ ​
